NCFE Level 1 - Certificate in Drug Awareness

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering two nationally recognised qualifications in substance misuse.

The courses provide Nationally recognised qualifications and are ideal for individuals who would benefit from a wider understanding of drugs and related issues and how to respond to them. This includes people who work in related fields such as criminal justice, police, nursing, young people's services, education and those who work in, or provide volunteering services in local agencies.

Level 1 Certificate in Drug Awareness

The Level 1 award covers 9 guided learning hours and is ideal for people who need a basic grounding in substance misuse

Every Saturday from 5th - 29th July 2008 - 10am - 1pm

Structure of contents, Level 1 Certificate in Drug Awareness

Unit 01 - Develop an awareness of drug use

Element 1.1 - Show an awareness of types of drugs and when they are used.

Element 1.2 - Show an awareness of the social and personal effects of drug use and how these are commonly portrayed.

Element 1.3 - Show an awareness of society's perceptions of and responses to drug use.
