Masterclass Workshops

Consultancy Solutions are working with our training consortium to present a range of 'masterclass' workshops.

Think of it as training with a purpose and you'll get the idea.

With an emphasis on addressing 'real life' issues and problems, these workshops are designed to promote active learning.

Recent additions to our programme includes;

1. Win that pitch - get that contract
A partnership with Sefton Chamber of Commerce and Hugh Baird College Business School in Liverpool highlighted this as a major threat to the future of small and medium sized businesses (especially in the private and voluntary sectors) who are often excluded from tendering processes or who lack the skills and knowledge to make the best of these opportunities.

The seminars are intended to improve the quality of bids (large and small) and to help bidders approach bid writing in a positive and productive way using methods that will help them succeed.

2. Targeted drug prevention
Much talk has been made of the need to target resources effectively at the vulnerable, 'hard to reach' and 'at risk' groups, particularly young people, however, in practice many agencies struggle to define targeted prevention, let alone plan effective programmes and initiatives.

Our 'masterclass' approach will use a mentoring style to enable participants explore targeted prevention, examining the evidence of 'what works' and encouraging creative flair in devising successful strategies and projects.

The training is led by members of our consultancy team with specific experience in this field and draws on their considerable expertise and applied knowledge.

3. Dealing with Diversity
Most of us have attended seminars or conferences on issues related to Diversity but how many of us have left with as many questions as answers, some we were too afraid to ask for fear of it being taken 'the wrong way?'

Well now is YOUR chance to ask those questions in an environment which supports honest, open dialogue about all things diverse. Whether it is culture and religion, the 'veil' issue, gender or questions about sexuality and sexual identity, we feel you will benefit from our fresh approach.
